CHOICE OF DECKING LINKS

Preserve Plus is an arsenic and chromium free, pressure treated wood with a built – in water repellent. ACQ preservative treatment is pressure treated deep into the heart of the wood, to provide long- lasting protection against rot, decay, termites, and effects of weathering.  Preserve Plus contains no EPA – listed hazardous chemicals and can be used in areas where safety and concern for the environment are a priority.

Mahogany

Mahogany is known for its long lasting beauty, strength, and durability.  Over the years it has been used extensively for exterior finish in the boat building industry.  One of the many benefits Mahogany decking offers is its natural resistance to decay and insect damage.  This makes Mahogany an excellent substitution for southern yellow pine decking where a uniform color and virtually knot free decking is desired.

Trex is a combination of many of the best properties of wood and plastic.  Trex is made from reclaimed materials: wood fiber (primarily hardwood) and polyethylene plastic (primarily from plastic shopping bags). Together they make a composite decking that provides low moisture absorption, and chemical and pest resistance.  Trex is splinter free and durable. Trex ORIGINS decking has evolved into a smoother, tighter profile, featuring a refined shape with a more squared profile. Available in Winchester Grey and Saddle only.
